Payday

Did some shopping today. Camping stuff: Portable stoves and cooking gear, water bottles, military tactical cutlery, hard water soap, that sort of thing.

The next thing to order is a Scala full-duplex intercom for bike to bike duets, listening to Lara, and sharing MP3 music, as well as interesting travelogue conversations along the lines of:
“There’s a gum tree”
“There’s another one”
“Spinifex”
“More spinifex”
“Oooh look, a rock…”

Lastly, we just need to stock up on noodles and tinned fish, instant coffee and chai latte and espresso coffee, and a few packs of dehydrated water.

That should cover pretty much everything we need.

I am so looking forward to this.

About Uisce úr

Though I am old with wandering Through hollow lands and hilly lands, I will find out where she has gone, And kiss her lips and take her hands; And walk among long dappled grass, And pluck till time and times are done, The silver apples of the moon, The golden apples of the sun.

I’m in for Turkish. Used to have a great cup on the waterfront in Wellington at a place called Istanbul. Is it something that can be carted around?
