Did some shopping today. Camping stuff: Portable stoves and cooking gear, water bottles, military tactical cutlery, hard water soap, that sort of thing.
The next thing to order is a Scala full-duplex intercom for bike to bike duets, listening to Lara, and sharing MP3 music, as well as interesting travelogue conversations along the lines of:
“There’s a gum tree”
“There’s another one”
“Spinifex”
“More spinifex”
“Oooh look, a rock…”
Lastly, we just need to stock up on noodles and tinned fish, instant coffee and chai latte and espresso coffee, and a few packs of dehydrated water.
That should cover pretty much everything we need.
I am so looking forward to this.
I’m in for Turkish. Used to have a great cup on the waterfront in Wellington at a place called Istanbul. Is it something that can be carted around?

Hey, of course,I got an espresso maker that would work too. Brilliant, thanks for reminding me. I could also bring my turkish coffee maker. I also have Turkish coffee with cardamon. Could be interesting, Sweet strong black coffee, yum.
