Nearing the End

This is my 1481st post on this blog. WordPress tells me I am nearing my data limit unless I start paying.  Given the limited audience of readers for my mostly uninteresting and mundane ramblings about my personal problems, I have decided to end the blog at entry 1500.  I am going to start a new one which shall be entitled A Thousand and One Uses for a Swiss army Knife in Melanesia.  It shall be a transcription of the journals I kept from 1984 to 1986 while I was a volunteer in Solomon Islands.  I may start another blog just for photographs, since this one is full.  I also intend to work more on my fiction and folklore.  There. Those are my intentions.

Tomorrow I am off to be re-armed at Bunbury Hospital. You may not hear from me for a while, or you may.

In the meantime, be well.

About Uisce úr

Though I am old with wandering Through hollow lands and hilly lands, I will find out where she has gone, And kiss her lips and take her hands; And walk among long dappled grass, And pluck till time and times are done, The silver apples of the moon, The golden apples of the sun.

All the very best for your coming operation.. hope they fix you up better than new ready to compete some more trips in Aussie, who knows, perhaps elsewhere on your trusty Harley Davidson.

I shall be thinking of you to the detriment of my attitude-just be thankful you are not a taxi driver on my channel.
