Leaped out of bed this morning bright and chirpy.  Had breakfast and coffee. Went shopping for vegetables, coffee, and cleaning stuff.  Spent only $80.   Returned home.  Cleaned and polished, swept and vacuumed.  Did the laundry and hung it out. Brought it in again.

Cleaned up the yard. Did a bit of heavy lifting. Moved the snake cabinet into the garage and shifted the barbecue over to where the snake cabinet had been.   Exhausted and with aching muscles I cooked a rack of lamb, mushrooms and Brussels sprouts with potatoes.

Hot shower and bed with a good book.

Tomorrow is riding day.

About Uisce úr

Though I am old with wandering Through hollow lands and hilly lands, I will find out where she has gone, And kiss her lips and take her hands; And walk among long dappled grass, And pluck till time and times are done, The silver apples of the moon, The golden apples of the sun.
