Proud Dad Stuff

My younger daughter and friends’ entry in the recent 48hrs film competition in NZ.

Looking at this as objectively as a parent can, I see a load of talent developing here, not just in the acting of the two protagonists, but the writing, directing and photography.   I thought this was a dramatically powerful understated piece.

For those not familiar with the 48hr film competition, contestants are given a genre (in this case end of the world), a prop and a word or line to incorporate into their movie.  They then have 48 hours to write, produce, film and edit the movie, and submit it for consideration.

Just getting an entry in is an achievement.

Kudos to you kids!

About Uisce úr

Though I am old with wandering Through hollow lands and hilly lands, I will find out where she has gone, And kiss her lips and take her hands; And walk among long dappled grass, And pluck till time and times are done, The silver apples of the moon, The golden apples of the sun.
