Excitement Mounts

Still researching the places to visit on the Great Northern Trip. Advice from a colleague who used to live in the Pilbara is that we must visit Tom Price, Parabardoo and Exmouth, where there is some great snorkelling. So a further refinement to the travel map.

About Uisce úr

Though I am old with wandering Through hollow lands and hilly lands, I will find out where she has gone, And kiss her lips and take her hands; And walk among long dappled grass, And pluck till time and times are done, The silver apples of the moon, The golden apples of the sun.

Cheers TR. Dave’s Swag and Sleeping bag arrived Friday. I already have mine.
(A swag is an Australian refinement of the traditional bedroll – see a picture of mine here: https://stefford.wordpress.com/2012/01/29/jolly-swagman/)

I am eagerly awaiting a few other things I have ordered. Like a cissy seat pack, and pegs for the 650,

  2. I know the feeling well, plan research plan and the closer you get to the day and then the fun begins… I want to go… I’m looking forward to your posts about the trip.
