Golden Hours before the Aquarium

I can spend hours just watching the aquarium.

My coffee turns cold, the housework is neglected, other planned activities forgotten.

This could be considered  a negative thing, but I prefer to see the brighter side.  It probably contributes to my lower blood pressure, it definitely contributes to my education and entertainment, and is likely far better for me than television.

You must have been warned against letting the golden hours slip by. Yes, but some of them are golden only because we let them slip by. –

James M. Barrie, novelist and playwright (1860-1937)

About Uisce úr

Though I am old with wandering Through hollow lands and hilly lands, I will find out where she has gone, And kiss her lips and take her hands; And walk among long dappled grass, And pluck till time and times are done, The silver apples of the moon, The golden apples of the sun.
