Back in NZ

Here I am in NZ for six days with my daughters.  I arrived Sunday morning and spent most of Sunday and half of Monday sleeping.  Tuesday was the great 21st Birthday treasure hunt and picnic, for which the weather was exceptionally kind.

It was a fantastic day, and I was so very happy to see Mata enjoying herself.   Sumana did a fantastic job of organising a wonderful day, and Mata’s friends threw themselves into it wholeheartedly.

Weds was shopping and a movie and tomorrow will be more of the same.  We have some friends to visit and then I head back to Oz.  I am much happier now that I see how my girls are managing.

And the news they have given me has, contrary to their expectations, brought me some peace of mind and closure.  And that is all I have to say about that.

About Uisce úr

Though I am old with wandering Through hollow lands and hilly lands, I will find out where she has gone, And kiss her lips and take her hands; And walk among long dappled grass, And pluck till time and times are done, The silver apples of the moon, The golden apples of the sun.
