Four Day Weekend 3

The day of rest.  I drove to the Police Pools in the morning for my walk,  it was a beautiful clear day.  It was also freezing cold.  So after I came home, and had a ploughman’s lunch, realising that heaters were going to cost me a fortune, I showered and went to bed and watched movies, with the electric blanket on.  Or rather I dozed and dreamed parallel story lines which seemed to pick up on the dialogue in the movie and then went off in bizarre directions.  Not an entirely unpleasant way to waste a Sunday afternoon.  It is a delight to be able to sleep without discomfort.

About Uisce úr

Though I am old with wandering Through hollow lands and hilly lands, I will find out where she has gone, And kiss her lips and take her hands; And walk among long dappled grass, And pluck till time and times are done, The silver apples of the moon, The golden apples of the sun.
