A Month and a Day

One month and one day ago I arrived back in NZ.  I surprised my daughters and we shared a joyous reunion.

Since then I have applied for every job in NZ for which I feel suited, and a stack of jobs in Australia too.  I have run out of money, borrowed some, and almost run out again.  I have sold stuff on TradeMe, and filled a skip with memories, rubbish and things that would definitely have come in handy some time.  I am trying to get a house ready to sell.  It can hardly be said this last month has been a holiday, and I am nowhere near sorted out.

We press on nonetheless..

About Uisce úr

Though I am old with wandering Through hollow lands and hilly lands, I will find out where she has gone, And kiss her lips and take her hands; And walk among long dappled grass, And pluck till time and times are done, The silver apples of the moon, The golden apples of the sun.
