Mien Luon in Ha Noi

A colleague who is currently in Viet Nam sent a picture
of Mien Luon (eel noodle soup) being prepared by street
vendors in Ha Noi.

Many people responded to his email. Dave replied to say that
but one of the male responses he received had made
comment on the attractiveness of the cooks and added

that the one remaining person (me), commented on the bikes
and the food.

Not sure what that tells us.

Specifically, I remarked on the wire spokes, and asked the marque of the bikes.

I also requested a bucket of eels and the recipe for Mien Luon.

Apparently most of the female respondents expressed an aversion to eels.
I am not commenting on that.

About Uisce úr

Though I am old with wandering Through hollow lands and hilly lands, I will find out where she has gone, And kiss her lips and take her hands; And walk among long dappled grass, And pluck till time and times are done, The silver apples of the moon, The golden apples of the sun.
