Boxing Day 1

Up betimes, before the first pepys of the birds and before even the first tinge of dawn tainted the eastern horizon.  In my freezer I had some marlin steaks, which had thawed for three days after the cyclone.  I did not throw them away before  as I thought they might make good bait.  The tide was full early this morning, so I fired up my surfcasting rod and went intrepidly after my boxing day breakfast.

I guess it will be smoked marlin again.

About Uisce úr

Though I am old with wandering Through hollow lands and hilly lands, I will find out where she has gone, And kiss her lips and take her hands; And walk among long dappled grass, And pluck till time and times are done, The silver apples of the moon, The golden apples of the sun.
