Support Mammals

The other day I
watched a mynah harassing a mongoose across the yard at SOPAC. I was not sure at first where my
sympathies lie. The mynah is defending her young, the mongoose wanted to
feed hers.  In the end I decided my support goes to the mammal.
Had one of the two species been indigenous I would surely have supported the indigene, but both are imported pests.

All things being equal, I am in favour of the mammal. Unless of course it were a rat, or, she were
after a snake.

I like snakes.

About Uisce úr

Though I am old with wandering Through hollow lands and hilly lands, I will find out where she has gone, And kiss her lips and take her hands; And walk among long dappled grass, And pluck till time and times are done, The silver apples of the moon, The golden apples of the sun.
